E2c Headphone Repair

The cable of my headphone developed bad contact near the left earbulb.

I called Shure HK and they confirmed that it is still covered by their 2 years warranty (I brought it in May 2004) and they asked me to bring the headphone to the shop for handling.

The shop 新時代 in causeway bay where I brought the headphone no longer exist. Luckily their sister shop, 旺角音響中心 will handle the warranty matters.

I brought the headphone to 旺角音響中心 and presented my receipt ... without asking a single question, they took out an un-opened E2c and 'break' the box in front of me.... Wow, their warranty policy is 'Replace with a new pair' !!!

I now have a brand new headphone for the rest of my warranty period. Hopefully it will last for more than 1 and a half year more !!! I will exercise extra care to keep it in good shape to prolong its life !!!
